Lucas Brinkmann becomes new Managing Director at Pinterest DACH
The former Wavemaker manager succeeds Martin Bardeleben and is tasked with expanding the advertising partner base and supporting brands in their full-funnel use of the platform.
The social media platform Pinterest has a new Managing Director DACH: Lucas Brinkmann. He succeeds Martin Bardeleben, who left the company in September 2025. Brinkmann comes from Wavemaker.
At Pinterest, he reports to Cecile van Steenberge, VP of International Enterprise Sales since February 2025.
Focus on full-funnel marketing
In his new role, Brinkmann will drive the expansion of the advertising partner base, which is increasingly moving towards online shopping. The aim is to support brands in making greater use of Pinterest as a full-funnel tool.
