Xaver Award 2024: 34 submissions, one new website
This year's Xaver Awards will be presented in Zurich on September 10. 34 submitted projects were evaluated by the jury at the end of May. The LiveCom Prize also presents itself with a new, modern website.
The submission phase for the Xaver began on February 1: a total of 34 projects were submitted and evaluated by the jury at the end of May. Voting for the "Public Xaver" will be open online from August 5, before the award show on September 10, 2024 in the presence of around 700 guests in the halls of JED Events in Schlieren will decide which projects will be honored and awarded prizes. Christian Künzli, President of the Swiss LiveCom Association, is looking forward to the upcoming 22nd edition: "Every year, the event industry demonstrates its innovative strength and creativity with the Xaver. This much in advance - the projects submitted are evidence of an outstanding year and the public can look forward to an exciting competition."
Xaver in a new guise
On the new Xaver website all submitted projects can now be viewed. The revised page is fresh, airy and has some new features. The Hall of Fame of past editions up to 2017 can now be accessed. In addition, the site is now trilingual and more mobile-friendly. "Our aim was to create a platform that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also meets the needs of our industry. With the improved user-friendliness and new functions, we can now offer our members an even better online experience," says Bala Trachsel, Vice President of the association and responsible for communications.
Ticket sales start on June 18 on Ticketino.
