The house is located in the middle of the historic old town of Burgdorf.History was written in the Stadthaus Burgdorf; for example, the Schnell brothers drafted the first democratic constitution of the Canton of Bern in the rooms around 1830, which also earned the house the name "Rütli of the Canton of Bern".The 18 rooms and suites in the historic sandstone building are stylishly and luxuriously furnished. The restaurant, with 14 Gault-Millau points, also fulfills all culinary wishes. Marvin Portmann, host says about the cooperation: "Romance fits perfectly to us.
