SRG repositions itself
Mergers, cost-cutting measures, and their impact on employees, according to a statement from SRG.

According to the press release, this affects the HR, Finance and Technology/IT functional areas, for example. SRG Director General Susanne Wille: "SRG will remain anchored throughout Switzerland. Presence in the regions and proximity to the audience remain central. However, we are moving closer together in order to continue making a strong program with less money. We are cutting back on structures and processes in order to protect journalism as well as possible. However, it is also clear that we will not be able to save this amount without impacting our offering.
The repositioning of SRG is a first result of the company-wide transformation project "Enavant SRG SSR", which the Board of Directors and the CEO launched last fall. The planned cost-cutting measures will also have an impact on employees. SRG will endeavor to keep them responsible and as socially responsible as possible. A precise estimate of the number of employees affected is currently being examined.
Implementation of the new organization will begin in early 2026.
