Swiss radio producers celebrate the future of their medium
The eighth edition of Radio Night took place on Wednesday at Haus am See. The glamorous networking event, hosted by Swiss Radioworld, attracted 300 guests this year.
National radio celebrities met in Zurich Wollishofen together with numerous guests from neighboring countries. Even the moody weather did not dampen the good mood. Baschi enriched the event with an acoustic live performance and with songs that will only be officially released on Friday. The dialect rocker gave the guests of the Radio Night an exclusive foretaste of his eighth studio album.
Old friendships were cultivated and new contacts made. Radio producers exchanged ideas with advertisers and agencies about the many opportunities and challenges of radio as a medium.
Partners from the French-speaking part of Switzerland were also virtually all present. Ralf Brachat, Managing Director of Swiss Radioworld, is particularly pleased about this, as he emphasizes in a statement: "Radio Night is a wonderful occasion for people in the industry to exchange ideas. I'm pleased that so many people accepted our invitation again this year and came to the Haus am See."
