Ringier intends to accelerate the Group-wide digital transformation with the new management appointments. Michael Moersch, previously COO and Head of Global Media Unit, will also become CEO of Ringier Media International as of July 1, 2025. He succeeds Dmitry Shishkin, who will act as Strategic Editorial Advisor and support the editorial transformation of the media brands in all markets.

Ringier currently operates 107 media brands in twelve countries in Europe and Africa. The focus is on closer cooperation between the national companies and the technology hubs in Warsaw and Krakow. "This cross-market technological collaboration is unprecedented in Ringier's history and is crucial for our long-term success, especially in view of the advance of AI-driven business models," says Ladina Heimgartner, Head Media and CEO of Ringier Media Switzerland.

As CEO of Ringier Media International, Dmitry Shishkin has helped shape digital development in the Eastern European markets over the past two years. In his new role, he will oversee the introduction of the user-needs model, data-based content strategies and the use of new technologies such as AI in the Group's editorial offices.

Ladina Heimgartner will retain overall responsibility for Ringier's media business. The changes will come into effect on July 1, 2025.
