Two marketing associations under one roof

Associations VML and Wemar become Komma Founded in 1977, Wemar, the trade association for marketing communication in the business-to-business sector, and the Association of Marketing Managers (VML), which has existed since 1983, merged at the beginning of January. They now form the Communication + Marketing Association (Komma) with around 100 members. The president is Josef Hugentobler, who previously headed Wemar. According to a press release, Komma aims to occupy a "qualitative niche position" in German-speaking Switzerland with professional and socially oriented events.
