Zoebeli Communications takes over the operational business of Howald & Partner PR
Effective early 2012, Fred Howald will merge his firm, Howald & Partner PR, into Zoebeli Communications and will simultaneously join its board of directors. For Fred Howald, this integration also represents an ideal succession plan.
While Howald & Partner Public Relations AG today works mainly in the areas of healthcare, tourism, trade and for associations and authorities, Zoebeli Communications focuses on listed industrial companies and on communication projects for the Federal Administration. Zoebeli Communications has been a member of the BPRA, the Swiss Association of Public Relations Agencies, since 2006 and has been certified according to the internationally recognized Consultancy Management Standard CMS II since 2007.
It is now planned that Zoebeli Communications will also take over the Swiss representation of the ECCO International Communications agency network from Howald & Partner PR, which is present in 40 countries worldwide, according to a statement from the two agencies. The Zoebeli Communications team, which will comprise nine employees from January 2012, will remain based at Effingerstrasse 6 in Bern.
