US company promises dream click-through rates with instant opt-in ads

US company promises dream click-through rates with instant opt-in adsWith its instant opt-in technology Deals on Demand, the American technology start-up iWant.com is attempting to reopen the online advertising market. With Deals on Demand, advertisers should be able to respond to the current needs of an Internet user in a matter of seconds. Unlike traditional opt-in methods, permission to show a user advertising is not only obtained once (e.g. when registering), but again and again. With this system, Internet users do not even have to enter their e-mail address.
IWant.com now makes its technology available to 20000 partner sites in the USA. These can integrate Deals on Demand free of charge as a small window on their website. Visitors to the site can enter the product or service they are currently looking for. They can choose from a total of 270 categories and are immediately presented with a selection of offers in the form of text advertisements and/or banner ads from iWant.com's advertising partners in a new browser window.
IWant.com guarantees
10 percent click rate
Deals on Demand is free for website operators, but advertising partners are asked to pay. The price per thousand contacts (CPM) is an impressive 400 dollars. A multiple of the CPM for normal banner advertising. For iWant.com, however, this price is justified. After all, the advertising banners and messages delivered in this way have an average click-through rate of 20 percent.
To prove that such figures are not just marketing malarkey, iWant.com promises to refund advertisers who do not achieve at least ten percent or to keep the campaign running until the target is reached. As Kevin McLaughlin, Director Strategic Alliances, emphasized on request, this has never happened before. To date, over 1200 advertisers are working with iWant.com.
