Worldwide relaunch: New corporate logo for Aldi Suisse
Aldi Suisse is getting a new logo as part of the Aldi Süd group of companies. All nine Aldi Süd countries, including Switzerland, will gradually introduce the logo from June 2017.

The Aldi Suisse logo in the familiar colors red, blue, cyan, yellow and orange is getting a fresh coat of paint. The new design is intended to reflect the major developments that Aldi Suisse has recently undergone in the interests of its customers. For example, the grocer has grown strongly in recent years, expanding its product range and increasing its international presence - most recently in Italy. Another reason for the relaunch are today's requirements for a logo: it must be able to be used flexibly in a variety of media, feature a contemporary design, and represent the globally active discounter in its various country-specific appearances.
"Innovations in the appearance are an expression of ongoing further developments for the benefit of our customers. After all 185 store locations were equipped with a modern store design and environmentally friendly technology, the new logo now forms another milestone in the perception as a modern Swiss discounter with its finger on the pulse," said Hofer KG General Manager Günther Helm and Aldi Suisse Country Manager Timo Schuster in a statement.
Despite the visual modernization, the logo retains its recognition value. For example, the typical colors are retained.
Aldi Süd includes the national companies in Australia, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary and the USA. All nine Aldi Süd countries will gradually introduce the new logo from June 2017.
