Walder,Werber motivates young people for construction professions
The construction industry continues to struggle with its image among the general public. Unfairly so, as Walder, a public relations specialist for the Campus Sursee Construction Training Center, now explains.
According to the agency, the construction industry offers responsible, varied jobs, a good wage level, good working conditions and, above all, excellent educational and career opportunities. Campus Sursee wants to initiate this form of rethinking among aspiring professionals. With a playful idea, it wants to motivate young people to learn a profession in the construction sector - and/or to further their education in it.
Together with Walder,Werber, a ladder game was developed for this purpose. The Leiterlispiel comes handy in a foldable pocket guide - together with information on the various training levels as well as a dice and 1-Räppler as game pieces. The Leiterlispiel is intended to show young people how steep their career ladder can be, from construction foreman to company manager, the agency continues. In this game, you can only move up, never down.
