Visual storytelling by Corpmedia for "Steuervorlage.ch" information platform
The information platform «Steuervorlage.ch» went live at the beginning of the month. Through this platform, Economiesuisse is providing information about the upcoming reform of the Swiss tax system (Tax Proposal 17). Corpmedia is supporting Economiesuisse in this effort as a storytelling partner.

William Tell is a reliable symbol when it comes to communicating traditional Swiss values. In the design of the Communication Economiesuisse is relying on Tell as the protagonist in the campaign for the planned reform of the Swiss corporate tax system. The character "Willy", created by Corpmedia, explains the situation regarding Tax Proposal 17 in an innovative animation that is easy to understand. He is the identification figure and mascot of the new campaign. In addition to the animation, Willy will be used as a character for various online and offline measures.

Willy's motto is "Tax reform in plain language". In this way, he reduces complexity and takes the audience by the hand. The information is presented in an easily understandable and factual way.The animation plays on the "Steuervorlage.ch" information platform created by Econoniemesuisse specifically for communication purposes and is available in four languages (DE, FR, IT and EN with subtitles).
Technically, the explanatory film is an innovative mixture of Willy as a 3D character and the flat, simple 2D world.
Together with Economiesuisse, Corpmedia laid out the strategy, developed the dramaturgy under the direction of director Alex Kleinberger and created the text. The character "Willy" and his environment were visualized by renowned illustrator John Hollander and Corpmedia motion designers Klaas Kaat, Fabricio Bolla and Michael Fink.
