Vimeco launches "calc4print" calculation app
Vimeco, an agency based in Lachen, has created a pricing app for printed materials. The iPad app is designed to simplify the pricing process for standard printed materials.
With just a few clicks, the field sales force creates the offer directly at the customer's premises using their tablet - and just a few seconds later, the customer has the offer as a PDF in their mailbox, the agency said in a press release. The application "calc4print" is available in two versions. One is the free standard iPad version, which is based on a price matrix with market-compliant average prices that are valid for the Swiss print market. On the other hand, there is the paid full version, which, in addition to the iPad app, has a browser-based administration tool in which the entire price matrix can be customized according to individual requirements. The "calc4print" app is intended to simplify internal processes in the area of standard printed matter.
The agency was able to convince the two graphic arts industry associations, Viscom and VSD, to use the app. Viscom and VSD already recommend the tool to their members, as the agency writes.
