Ursula Eggenberger leaves YJOO Communications

Ursula Eggenberger, Partner at the PR agency YJOO Communications, is moving to the Federal Chancellery, where she will take over as Head of the Information and Communication Section at the beginning of May.

At the beginning of last year, Ursula Eggenberger joined Martin Zahner as Managing Partner at the newly founded agency YJOO Communications. Werbewoche wanted to know from Ursula Eggenberger why she was leaving the agency after just over a year. According to Eggenberger, the varied and exciting work at the Federal Chancellery prompted her to make the change. After almost 15 years at the agency, she wanted a change. "I realized that it wasn't right for me to start working at a PR agency again a year ago." Of course it is a certain loss for the agency. However, the company is in an excellent position and has a "first-class, committed management team, a great team, many good clients and exciting projects".

Before joining YJOO Communications, Ursula Eggenberger was a member of the management boards of Trimedia Communications and Wirz Public Relations. During her studies in art history, philosophy and German linguistics, Eggenberger, born in 1962, worked as a freelancer for the Tages-Anzeiger, the Schweizer Woche and the Zürichsee Zeitung. She replaces Hansruedi Moser at the Federal Chancellery, who will take over staff duties for Vice-Chancellor and Federal Council Spokesperson André Simonazzi in future, according to a Federal Chancellery press release.
