Télévision Suisse Romande (TSR) once again lost viewers to other television stations in 2002. The market share fell from 31.3 to 30.3 percent, and TSR director Gilles Marchand said that television in French-speaking Switzerland was feeling the pressure from commercial stations in France. The goal for 2003 is not to fall below the 30 percent mark. Nevertheless, TSR remains number 1 in all age groups.
