TR7: A star is born

Magazines For three decades, the television program guide from Jean Frey was called TR7, but now the name has become too bland for the publisher: As TV-Star, the magazine is to radiate more glamor in the future. "The name TV-Star is the program," says Editor-in-Chief René Hildbrand. The former TV editor of Blick introduced people and party pages to TR7 two years ago. There will be even more of these in future - even in the first issue under the new name, which was published on January 19. Hildbrand is convinced that the renaming of the magazine will give it a further boost in the reader and advertising market. Under its old name, it has already increased its circulation to 17,3720 copies since 2002 (see also page 23). Archrival Tele is only 17704 copies away.
