Tincan: Redesign for the anniversary of the Zug fair

For its 50th anniversary, the Zug Trade Fair, the largest autumn exhibition in Central Switzerland, presents itself in a new look. The redesign was developed by the creative agency Tincan.

Tincan has been supporting the Zug trade fair in the areas of marketing and communication for a good year and a half. This year, the creative agency also provided intensive support for the trade fair's redesign project with its four brands - Digital, Hello, Motion and Clicks - and developed a new website.

In doing so, they wanted to give the trade fair a new look, while at the same time not losing sight of tradition and recognition. In addition to the new website, the core element is the development of a key visual that is intended to represent the diversity of the Zug trade fair and at the same time can be adapted via various media channels.

The design draws on certain elements of the previous appearance and combines them with modern components. It can be used both as a static image and as an animation. Thomas Huwyler, Managing Director and Exhibition Manager of Zug Fair: "Tincan has created a key visual for our traditional brand that works across all channels - from TV to website to advertising in public transport or classic posters - and radiates our values as well as diversity."
