Tasty Tunes Capital acquires Fruitcake Communications
Bern-based Tasty Tunes Capital is introducing a reimagined holding company model. Through the acquisition of Fruitcake Communications and the strategic merger with Nice Try, Moodhouse, and Aticfade, the company is creating an operational ecosystem that provides brand building, digital content, and finance all under one roof.

What began as a vision of the two founders Elias Gutscher and Dario Hitz is now taking concrete, market-changing shape. With the completion of the latest wave of acquisitions, Tasty Tunes Capital is positioning itself not as a pure management company, but as an active entrepreneurial driver. While traditional investment models often only provide capital, TTC brings operational clout directly to the table.
The "Inner Circle" as a synergetic power center
At the heart of this strategy is the strategic "Inner Circle". This is where essential services for commercial operations, branding and digital transformation merge into a highly efficient network. Fruitcake Communications brings over 40 years of in-depth expertise in brand identity, web development and branding to the group. The Bern-based podcast agency Nice Try acts as a strategic driver for modern corporate communications and corporate audio formats. As a specialized content unit of Nice Try, Moodhouse delivers high-quality photo and video content. AF Aticfade builds the important bridge between traditional accounting and strategic CFO management for SMEs and start-ups.
"We are entrepreneurs who build for entrepreneurs," explains Elias Gutscher, co-founder of Tasty Tunes Capital. "Our setup allows us to immediately utilize synergies operationally. When we invest, we directly contribute our entire clout, from branding to finance." For existing and future customers, this means more impact from a single, perfectly coordinated source.
Fruitcake enters the next era
The integration of Fruitcake into the TTC portfolio marks a special milestone in the Bern agency landscape. Founder Lahor Jakrlin has handed over his life's work and is retiring from the agency both operationally and as owner. His daughter Lara Jakrlin has been CEO since 2020 and is leading the traditional company into the future together with the existing, experienced team.
Interdisciplinary Board of Directors
In order to ensure the long-term growth and operational excellence of the holding company, TTC is currently setting up its Board of Directors. It was a key concern of the founders to bring together different perspectives and areas of expertise at the table instead of relying on homogeneous structures. The Board of Directors currently consists of the two founders Elias Gutscher and Dario Hitz, the financial expert David Abegglen and the business anthropologist Kenneth Domfe. This deliberately interdisciplinary composition ensures that economic scalability, cultural depth and strategic communication are given equal weighting on the Board of Directors.
Independence through real values
With this setup, TTC is pursuing a clear strategy of its own: investing in real companies with a scalable business model and sustainable growth potential. "We are building a powerful network that promotes operational excellence and creates real economic added value. Completely independent of short-term market fluctuations," adds Dario Hitz.
