Swisscom becomes Presenting Partner of HeroFest

Swisscom is expanding its gaming sponsorship and becoming the presenting partner of the most important e-sports event in the German-speaking world: the company is staging the winter finals of the Swisscom Hero League 2019 at the BERNEXPO site.

After announcing the launch of its own e-sports league Swisscom Hero League, powered by ESL, at last year's HeroFest, Swisscom is joining the most important Swiss e-sports event at the BERNEXPO site this year as a presenting partner. "We are delighted about the partnership with the BERNEXPO GROUPE and the opportunity to host the winter finals of the Swisscom Hero League during HeroFest. We are convinced that, together with the organizers, we can offer the community a great gaming experience," explains Annette Kohler, Project Manager Partnership & Live Experiences Swisscom.

Successful trio: BERNEXPO GROUPE, Swisscom and MYI

"With HeroFest, we are arousing emotions, satisfying curiosity and bringing the Swiss e-sports community together in one place. Together with Swisscom and our co-organizer MYI Entertainment, we will significantly strengthen and further develop our market relevance," explains Wolfgang Schickli, Head Exhibitions & Events B2C at the BERNEXPO GROUPE.

"We were already extremely pleased that Swisscom had chosen the premiere of HeroFest 2018 as the launch platform for the Hero League," adds Cédric Schlosser, CEO and founder of co-organizer MYI Entertainment. "We are all the more delighted that Swisscom is now also actively supporting the e-sports community in Switzerland as a presenting partner. We are convinced that this boost will enable us to take the second edition of HeroFest to the next level
