Swisscom buys Tamedia IT
Outsourcing: Starting in October, Tamedia will outsource its IT services to Swisscom IT Services.
Outsourcing Tamedia is outsourcing its IT services to Swisscom IT Services from October, with the agreement stipulating that Swisscom will take on around 50 employees of the Zurich-based media company. T-Systems Switzerland, which had already been awarded the contract in spring, will lose out. Tamedia revoked the contract in August because T-Systems' prices had proved to be realistic.
