Stefan H. Böni, 43, is the new managing director of Swiss Marketing. Effective May 14, 2012, he will assume overall operational responsibility at the headquarters of Switzerland’s largest professional association for marketing and sales.
With the appointment of Stefan H. Until now, the association's secretariat has been managed by two division heads (education and examinations/associations). Böni will now take over as general manager with overall responsibility. Marcel Weibel, who was Head of Associations for more than five years, will leave Swiss Marketing at the end of May. Claude Dubois will continue to be in charge of education and examinations. Stefan H. Böni, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA/AISAM) from the Sydney Business School / University of Wollongong Australia with a focus on strategic business management.
With the appointment of an overall manager, the central board of Swiss Marketing aims to professionalize the administrative processes at the office and to further expand the range of services offered to members, according to a press release. Other focal points are the strategic growth that has been initiated at the association level and the strengthening of the dual education system, which Swiss Marketing is actively promoting at various levels.
