Swiss Marketing: 263 new sales specialists awarded federal certificate of proficiency
On Friday, September 2, 2011, 263 sales professionals were awarded their federal certificates at the Casino Luzern. The top spots were firmly in the hands of women.
The graduation ceremony for the newly graduated sales specialists took place in front of a large crowd at the Lucerne Casino on Friday, according to a statement on Monday. 391 candidates competed; 263 passed the exam and received the federal certificate. This means that 67.2 percent of the candidates were successful, compared to 55.6 percent last year. The overall grade point average was 4.2.
The number of candidates is steadily increasing: 391 candidates took the exam in 2011, compared with 349 in 2010 and 250 in 2009. This year, the ratio of office staff to field staff is 2:1. This time, it was exclusively women who took the top ranks. Mirjam Wolf from Ebertswil ZH (average grade 5.1) was named best of the year. Four other ladies each achieved an average grade of 5.0: Maria Huser from Rothenburg LU, Andrea Preid from Dürnten ZH, Melanie Sauter from Bülach ZH and Simone Kamber from Balsthal, SO.
