SVJ welcomes new CLA negotiations
Unions: The Swiss Association of Journalists (SVJ) welcomes the publishers' decision to begin negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
Trade unions The Swiss Federation of Journalists (SVJ) welcomes the publishers' decision to enter into negotiations on a new collective labor agreement (CLA) instead of simply terminating the existing one. The Swiss Press Association (VSP) is thus taking up an initiative of the SVJ, according to a press release. A situation without a contract would jeopardize social peace and further exacerbate the economically strained situation of many publishers.
