Südostschweiz becomes a micro-newspaper

Daily newspapers Südostschweiz is being given a completely new concept, and Werbewoche has learned that it is being relaunched as a micro-newspaper along the lines of the Jungfrau Zeitung. Industry insiders believe that the consistent focus on local areas should work just as well in the narrow Grisons valleys as it does in the Bernese Oberland. Young publisher Urs Gossweiler has been looking for buyers for his newspaper concept for a long time. On the eve of April 1, none of those responsible could be reached.
