Far removed from fashionable and contemporary trends in visual communication, Barbara and Gerd Baumann and their firm Baumann & Baumann have spent more than twenty years finding and developing their own visual language. The almost 400-page illustrated book "Insights, overviews and outlooks" presents large and small projects. The Baumann & Baumann office in Schwäbisch Gmünd develops design and communication concepts for companies, exhibitions and trade fair appearances. They also design orientation and information systems as well as books and posters. Her work for the German Bundestag in Bonn and the Great Court of the British Museum in London is well known. Her book "Spiel Räume" has been published by Hatje Cantz Verlag in Stuttgart (ISBN 3-7757-0942-8).
