SNK: Beach feeling in Lausanne and Zurich
SNK is developing the logo and brand design for the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) for the ANOC World Beach Games, a new Olympic-style event featuring more than 20 beach sports disciplines for millennials and the young at heart.
Big news from the Association of National Olympic Committees in Lausanne: in 2017, San Diego will host the first ANOC World Beach Games. The Olympic-style event will take place every two years and will additionally live as a "digital destination" that is permanently online. With a unique fusion of sports, technology and entertainment, as well as a vibrant celebration of beach sports, the ANOC World Beach Games will be a magnet and meeting place for the young and young at heart worldwide. Zurich-based branding agency SNK developed the ANOC World Beach Games logo, which was selected in a global agency evaluation. The logo embodies the young, active spirit of the event and its target audience - millennials and all the young at heart who love the beach and the sea - and was very well received in tests with millennials, sponsors, media and marketing companies. SNK also developed the logo animation for ANOC, as well as adaptations for barriers and boards, posters, flags and merchandise on site.
ANOC engaged an international team of creative agencies to develop the look and feel of the ANOC World Beach Games: SNK, brand design; Keplar Agency, digital media; Benoy, architecture/overall planning; ALDA Events, event/music promotion; 250K, show concept/stage design. ANOC is committed to fostering dialogue between National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and international sports federations for the benefit of athletes and the Olympic Movement. Likewise, the association is committed to ensuring that the voice of the National Olympic Committees is heard in the implementation of "Agenda 2020," the Olympic reform package of IOC President Thomas Bach.
