Scaph celebrates its first anniversary

Founded at the beginning of March 2012, the Swiss Communication and Marketing Association of Public Health Scaph has made a successful start to its activities. After one year of existence, the network already has over 40 members.

The Scaph association networks communication and marketing specialists from 26 Swiss cities in German- and French-speaking Switzerland. Its members include communication and marketing specialists from university hospitals, cantonal and private hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and specialist clinics. "Our aim is to offer our members a platform for the professionalization of their diverse tasks and to promote personal exchange and the transfer of know-how among us communication and marketing experts," says association president Maurice Codourey, Head of Communication and Marketing at Waid City Hospital.

The Scaph board is made up of senior communication and marketing specialists from the five hospitals Forel Klinik, Kantonsspital Nidwalden, Kantonsspital Winterthur, Stadtspital Waid and Zuger Kantonsspital. "After this brilliant start, we would like to further expand our network and gain even more members from all parts of Switzerland," says Maurice Codourey, looking to the future. The aim is to further anchor Scaph in the sector and expand the association's activities.
