Farner is continuing to expand its artificial intelligence division within the agency. To this end, the company is consolidating its existing activities into an interdisciplinary core team designed to bring together consulting, creative work, technological development, and professional development.

Patrick Spahr is joining the team as the new Lead AI. According to Farner, Spahr has about 30 years of experience in the fields of digital communication, creative work, and technology. He will be responsible for the strategic development of the AI division and will work with the teams to further develop applications and consulting services. Spahr is also a co-founder and board member of the swissAI Association.

Proprietary Platforms and AI Academy

A key component of the new structure is Farner Intelligence. Among other things, the platform is designed to consolidate training, collaboration, and knowledge transfer within the agency and provide access to AI-powered workflows and client-specific applications.

With the AI Academy, Farner aims to further expand its employees' AI skills. According to the agency, the program focuses, among other things, on independent thinking, creativity, and sound judgment in communication.

Farner also highlights several AI applications that have already been developed. These include a solution designed to help creative teams produce brand-aligned visuals, the «Monitor» analytics platform for PR and public affairs, and a training solution for communication scenarios such as presentations, media interviews, and crisis management discussions.

In addition, the agency offers strategic AI consulting to companies, associations, and organizations. According to Farner, this ranges from developing an AI strategy to implementing it and supporting transformation processes.
