Renzen Communications inspires teens to serve in nursing home
In a campaign for the Youth Red Cross Aargau, Renzen Communications has focused on the interesting, educational aspects of a social assignment in a retirement home. The aim is to demonstrate the added value and dispel prevailing prejudices.
"Young and full of drive. Everyone is wanted at the Youth Red Cross - even people like you and me." These testimonials form the hook for various posters and a brochure presenting the work of the Youth Red Cross in an accessible way. The idea is to make it unmistakably clear that the young volunteers not only receive thanks for their efforts, but also benefit personally and professionally from the valuable exchange between young and old. Accordingly, one of the statements is, "I didn't know you could learn so much about an entire century in one hour."
As part of International World Red Cross Day, young people between the ages of 15 and 30 are also being invited on flyers in postcard format to form their own impression of the social projects based on voluntary work at the open day on May 7, 2011 at the Kehl Center for the Elderly in Baden.
