Talkative bottles

Bier Publicis is serving up a freshly tapped campaign for Heineken.

Beer Publicis serves up a freshly tapped campaign for Heineken A campaign at the right time: after the farmer's rule predicts seven weeks of fine weather after "Siebenschläfer-Tag", the new posters from Publicis for Heineken beer are doubly enticing. The message: where beer and music meet, people chat, joke, flirt and laugh. A combination that Heineken can claim as a sponsor not only of the Uefa Champions League, but also of various events with parties, people and music. The Heineken-sponsored jazz festival in Montreux begins on July 1. This is followed on July 14 by "Live at Sunset" in Zurich. Throughout the year, Heineken provides its connoisseurs in Switzerland with a newsletter about parties and concerts. At www.heineken.ch, anyone over the age of 18 can take part in a location vote for the best clubs and find out about the best places to go out online.
Having a say about music, going out and, of course, beer: such dialogs are logically the basis of the new Heineken campaign from the Publicis creative club. However, the heroes of the new campaign are not party people, but the bottles and cans from the Heineken range. They are joined by objects that are displayed alongside bottles and cans at the point of sale.
Consumption are to be found. Jokes are made using words from well-known songs. Bottle openers, longneck bottles, radios, slim-line cans, 33cl bottles and flowers, for example, are involved.
"Heineken brings its products to life in a refreshing and witty way and invites you to a stimulating summer of beer with lots of music," says Publicis, summarizing the idea. The new Heineken campaign can be seen on F12 and F200 posters and in large-format advertisements throughout Switzerland.
Heineken, which also owns Calanda and Haldengut, is the second-largest brewing company in Switzerland. The Dutch brand has divided its activities around the world into five large regions: Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, America, Asia/Pacific and Africa. In addition to a global campaign, the beer also wants to have individual campaigns developed in individual countries. Publicis won the contract for Switzerland in a pitch.
If bottles could sing: Publicis pours out a beery Heineken campaign.
