On Thursday, the 48th General Assembly of the Public Relations Society of Eastern Switzerland/Liechtenstein PROL took place in the Federal Administrative Court in St.Gallen. After the longtime president Anita Schweizer resigned last year and the board decided for a vacancy in the presidency, a new appointment could now be found: The two board members Claudia Eugster and Stefanie Krüsi made themselves available as co-presidents. The election proposal was accepted unanimously.

Nora Fuchs, who led through the evening as vice president, said goodbye to the two long-time board members Robert Stadler and Dionys Widmer as well as the auditor Lisa Brunner. Andreas Notter and Maja Bretscher were welcomed as new members of the board. Doro Anderegg will take care of the audit together with Jolanda Meyer in the future. All were unanimously elected during the General Assembly.

Review and outlook of the PROL

The PROL looks back positively on the past year. The number of members and the finances are stable. Various events are planned for the rest of the year: As part of the Openair St.Gallen, the PROL will address the topic of "community generated content", a visit to the Hilti Group in Schaan will offer insights into sustainability communication, a roundtable discussion on the topic of gender texts will follow in September, and at the end of the year Helvetia will show what a change in corporate culture means for communication.
