Onlineprinters strengthens management
Michael Fries, a former member of the CEWE Color Executive Board, will join the management team at Onlineprinters effective July 1, 2014. This key figure in the printing industry will take over management duties alongside Walter Meyer.
Walter Meyer is the founder and CEO of Onlineprinters. Together, the two will manage Onlineprinters Holding and its subsidiaries Druckerei und Verlag E. Meyer and Onlineprinters. Fries, an online printing specialist, brings many years of extensive strategic and practical experience in the industry, according to a statement Thursday. In his last position as a board member of photo book manufacturer CEWE Color, he was responsible for its German operations and the development of B2B online printing company Viaprinto until the end of 2013. He gained international management experience at the Boston Consulting Group, and before that he managed Mohn Media's prepress and sheetfed production at Ber-telsmann AG.
