Paper Arctic Paper, manufacturer of fine papers, now has a voluminous FSC paper in its range.ecologically produced papers used to be grayish. Particularly in office communications, which were dominated by white papers, they expressed the fact that companies using such papers had a certain environmental awareness. These papers are used less frequently today. However, the option of using environmentally friendly paper has remained. Papers certified with the FSC label (Forest Stewardship Council) take into account not only environmental compatibility but also the socially and economically sustainable use of forests. Paper producer Arctic Paper now offers four more grades of its Munken papers and - brand new - a voluminous, coated paper called "Arctic the Volume" in a quality certified according to FSC guidelines. In addition, the company has significantly increased the whiteness of the paper and thus also improved the print contrast. The range has also been expanded: Arctic the Volume is now available in grammages of up to 300 g/m2. The company is thus strengthening its market position in the coated paper sector.
New locationArctic Paper Schweiz AG, the Swiss subsidiary of the Swedish paper manufacturer, recently moved its offices from
Basel to the Technopark in Zurich. However, the distribution model will not change. Managing Director Urs Hochuli comments: "We will continue to sell our sheet papers via the paper trade. We also continue to handle most of our roll business directly with our customers."
Arctic Paper is committed to promoting the ecologically, socially and economically sustainable use of forests.
