Nike: Annie Leibovitz photographs the best female athletes
Annie Leibovitz asked for a shoot and everyone came: Tennis queen Maria Sharapova, French Open winner Li Na, eight-time athletics world champion Allyson Felix and Hope Solo, goalkeeper for the US national soccer team.
On the occasion of the new Nike campaign "Make yourself", the greats of sport met with the greats of photographic art in New York, according to a press release. The results are fascinating artistic images of attractive female athletes training hard every day to get to the top and stay there.
