Ford Europe returns to O&M Car manufacturer Ford is once again making Ogilvy & Mather its European lead agency. Only two years ago, Ford shifted a large part of its budgets to Young & Rubicam. BBDO: New business with layoffs In the executive suite of BBDO, they were recently happy about the profit of the global Chrysler budget (about 1.8 billion francs of new billings). However, the new business is less pleasing for the employees: Because Chrysler hopes to make savings from the consolidation, BBDO is about to announce layoffs. Duplications are to be avoided and efficiency increased. BBDO did not disclose how many employees are affected. However, new managers have been hired to build up Chrysler's PentaMark unit: Several employees of the former co-supervisor FCB followed Chrysler to BBDO.
