Newmedia: MS explained for children
The new website of the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society answers all questions about the disease in a child-friendly way. Newmedia implemented the website.
When someone falls ill with multiple sclerosis, it is often completely incomprehensible to children. What effects does the disease have? Who can help? These and many other questions are answered on the website Ms-kids.chwhich the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society recently published on the Internet. Together with Newmedia, they have managed to make the complex information suitable for children, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

Various cartoon characters are used on the website. Sorcerer's apprentice Maurelius Stern guides the children around the site, Blu the owl teaches them interesting facts, Flo the cat encourages them to play or guess and Mü the tortoise takes on the role of the victim.
The design of the website was developed by Newmedia in collaboration with the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the technical implementation was realized by Newmedia. The content management system Drupal was used, which is particularly suitable for websites with a community character, as the agency writes.
