Nine prizes for Switzerland

Press The jury of the European Newspaper Award - organized by German newspaper designer Norbert Küpper in collaboration with the journalism magazines Medium Magazin, Der Österreichische Journalist and Media Facts - has awarded nine prizes to Swiss newspapers: St. Galler Tagblatt as well as NZZ am Sonntag brought it to four awards each, while the Aargauer Zeitung received one award. However, the Swiss press came away empty-handed with the main prizes: The newspapers with the best design are published in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and the UK. 334 newspapers from 26 countries took part.
