New PR agency with a focus on public service
A new communications service provider has launched under the name RPPR Richard Pfister Public Relations. The PR agency provides services in public relations and public affairs.
This is in the areas of consulting, conception and implementation management, the agency said in a statement on Friday. RPPR mainly targets companies and organizations in the public service environment. This includes sectors with basic service functions such as transportation, communication, healthcare and social services, energy and water supply, municipalities and other authorities and administrations.
The agency commenced its business activities in Bern in October. The agency, which also goes by the abbreviated name RPPR, was founded by PR consultant and former journalist Richard Pfister. He has many years of experience in political journalism and in communications for public service companies and policy-related organizations, according to the press release. Most recently, Pfister worked for around ten years in corporate communications at Swiss Post, including as a media spokesperson and issues manager. RPPR is starting out as a one-person company in German and will work with suitable partners depending on the situation.
