New management at Xing Switzerland
Xing Switzerland continues to expand its team. Effective immediately, veteran journalist Yvonne Zurbrügg will head communications for the professional social network in Switzerland.
The 31-year-old was most recently editor-in-chief at Women in Business. Yvonne Zurbrügg joined the Zurich-based Xing team at the beginning of February and will be responsible for the development and implementation of a content strategy geared towards Switzerland via Xing's own and external channels. In addition to developing her own content, this also includes working with local partners and integrating content from existing Xing formats.

Yvonne Zurbrügg has broad communications and editorial experience. Most recently, she worked as editor-in-chief at the Swiss magazine Women in Business and moderated the panel discussion series Women's Talk. Before that, she was a consultant for corporate communications at Contract Media AG and previously deputy head of entertainment at Schweizer Illustrierte. Her 12-year career as a journalist began with editorial jobs at Tamedia and Gossweiler Media.
After Xing Switzerland brought Sabina Neuhaus on board as Head of Marketing at the beginning of the year, the team led by Xing Switzerland Managing Director René Maeder has now made another important addition to strengthen its local presence. René Maeder comments: "We are delighted to be able to significantly strengthen our local media and communications expertise with Yvonne Zurbrügg. As Head of Communications, she will play a key role in bringing the many benefits of Xing closer to Swiss employees, employers, the self-employed, startup founders and recruiters."
