Metzgerlehner sets the festive table for Bell
In an opulent festive campaign, Metzgerlehner and Bell are serving the whole of Switzerland only the best for the holidays - in all media: from TV, radio, print and POS to a festive online presence with social media integration.
The aim of the campaign is to further expand Bell's leading position for delicious meat products and to promote sales of specialties created especially for the festive season. At the center of the overall campaign is a Christmas classic: the song "Jingle Bells". According to the agency, the special fact that it contains the Bell brand name was the reason for transforming the song into "Jingle Bell". The song, which was specially rewritten and recorded for Bell, can not only be heard in a TV and radio commercial, but is also available online in full length as an mp3 file and cell phone ringtone.
In the TV commercial, directed by Christine Wiederkehr, the voices of the various TV characters in all age groups are also enchanting. They were arranged a capella to match the commercial after an extensive casting by Federico Bettini, Jingle Jungle. Specialist Jean-Luc Wey was recruited for the lip-sync translation. A different "bell" is used as a key visual for the advertising material without sound. The "cloche" known from haute cuisine. According to the agency, it is intended to symbolize the pleasure and quality that Bell brings to every festive table. "Jingle Bell" is also the hook for a competition run by several radio stations. Listeners can win bulging festive hampers from Bell with their own "Jingle Bell" verses. The song lyrics can also be found in the Bell recipe booklet, which is available in many supermarkets and features Bell's extra-long festive table.
All media lead to an online competition on Bellfest.ch. The weekly highlight: a festive meal for ten people within your own four walls - prepared by a top chef who has been awarded 15 Gault Millau points.
The campaign runs until December 31, 2011.
