Maybaum Film realizes employer branding video for Seco

Maybaum Film, a film production company based in Baden, has produced an employer branding video for the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. The focus is on the diverse activities of Seco and the wide range of interests that potential employees should bring with them.

Maybaum Film implemented the first moving image format in the field of personnel marketing for Seco. Therefore, it was all the more important to depict, as far as possible, Seco's entire field of activity - 16 overarching divisions and another 50 specialized subject areas. According to Patrizia Herzog from Seco and Maybaum project manager Flavio Alraun, this was by far the biggest challenge. The video provides a cross-section of the various Seco departments and thus shows what it is like to work at a larger government office.

The schedule was tight: all film sequences had to be shot within two days. With a well thought-out shooting schedule and the flexibility of the Seco employees, all the shots were in the can within a short time.

In the three-minute film, Seco employees have their say and give an insight into their meaningful, valuable and varied work. Great attention was also paid to the language: "On the one hand, it was important that Switzerland's multilingualism was well represented in the video - this was a particular concern of the client. On the other hand, it was also important that the tonality of Seco was taken into account and that the dynamics that prevail at Seco were expressed," explains Flavio Alraun.

The film will be used on the Seco website as well as on LinkedIn and Youtube. It will also introduce future talents to the world of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs at university fairs. Patrizia Herzog from Seco concludes: "The film shows not only the national but also the international field of activity. It's nice to have so many different employees have their say - we particularly like that."
