LSA Managing Director Catherine Purgly leaves association
Catherine Purgly has headed the office of Leading Swiss Agencies, the association of Switzerland's leading communications agencies, for eight years. She is leaving the association at the end of November to take on a new professional challenge.
Beat Krebs, President of the LSA, regrets her resignation: "I would like to sincerely thank Catherine Purgly for her great commitment. With her, we are losing a managing director who has successfully led the association into the future with a great deal of commitment. I would particularly like to mention her commitment to young talent and to the initiatives in the area of sustainability and climate protection. I very much enjoyed working with Catherine and find it a great pity that she is leaving the office, but I also understand the desire for a change."
Catherine Purgly adds: "It has been a great pleasure for me to play a major role in shaping the leadership role of the association and its members over the past eight years, together with a great team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Presidium and the Board for their trust and inspiring collaboration."
At its last meeting, the LSA Board initiated the search for a successor. We are looking for a committed and hands-on personality who feels at home both in the agency world and in the management of an association.
