Live spots from Sochi in streetcar, train and bus

During the 2014 Winter Olympics, the Passenger TV screens in trams, buses, and trains will show highlights from Sochi every evening starting at 5 p.m.

The summary of the results and the most moving images of the day will be provided in cooperation with SRF. From February 7 until the closing ceremony of the Winter Games, they will be broadcast on Passenger TV screens inside buses, streetcars and trains between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. each day. Numerous regional and national public transport companies are making this service available to their passengers.

The news about the events in Sochi are embedded in the ongoing Passenger TV program. On the one hand, it shows information on public transport operations regarding connection times, routes and any disruptions, and on the other, constantly updated news on sports, politics, the economy, weather and culture in the region.

Up to a maximum of 25 percent advertising can be inserted between the program's news blocks. This new advertising and information platform is particularly interesting for local SMEs: they can focus their information precisely on route and time from their own PC. Passengertv now reaches over 830,000 passengers daily in 23 cantons and is a product of Livesystems. The Bern-based company won the Swiss Economic Award with Passenger TV in 2012.
