Level Two designs launch film for Victorinox Swiss Army

The Swiss Air Force helicopter base provides the name, the design refers directly to the Cougar AS 532, the 4-bladed helicopter. The design presents itself graphically edgy, core elements were modeled on the rotor blades of the helicopter, the cockpit, the control stick and the turbine, respectively. The Alpnach Chrono is tough and exceptionally reliable, just like its role model, versatile in use even under the most extreme conditions, according to the campaign slogan. The creative idea of the film is based on this basic idea, which inspired Victorinox to create this chronograph.

The macro shots with the in-house Motion Control camera were realized in a 2-day shoot by Level Two on 35mm film in the in-house Motion Control studio. The director, Gregor Rott, paid special attention to staging the chronograph in the film as a Cougar AS 532, the agency said in a statement. The film is supported by a sound concept that was also created in Level Two's in-house sound studio by Jan Rieder. The cinema and POS film will be used worldwide, especially in the Asian region.

The technique: Motion control shots are a special effects technique with motion control that allows the same camera or object movements to be repeated over and over again with pixel-precision using computer-assisted automation, according to the agency. In post production, the shots can be composited together. This makes effects and shots possible that would not be feasible without this technology.
