Lasso: Online game developed for Simply Science Foundation
Lasso Consulting has developed an online game for the Simply Science Foundation. The goal is to spark an interest in science and technology among young people.
The two characters Simply and Science appear as protagonists in several episodes. Simply is cheeky, uncomplicated and thinks chemistry is stupid, but action-packed experiments are cool. Science is rather calm, thoughtful and idealistic and has higher goals. His self-proclaimed mission is to find an inexhaustible source of energy through experimentation. In addition to the support of Simply, the help of the users is also required to bring the experiments to a successful conclusion.
Participation is rewarded with prizes that users can win. To promote the spread of the Game a special pricing mechanism was developed to speed up the process. At the beginning, users can choose their favorite prize from three. Users can then collect votes for their desired prize from their friends by e-mail or Facebook. The prize that receives the most votes will be drawn three times at the end. The first episode will run until December 20, 2012, with the second starting in mid-January 2012.
