Canton of Bern launches news subscription service
Anyone interested—not just members of the media—can now receive press releases from the Canton of Bern and news from individual departments and offices of the cantonal administration directly by email.
Until now, this service of the Office of Communications (KomBE) was reserved for media professionals. Now, anyone who is interested can put together their customized news subscription on the canton's website. As soon as the media releases and news are published on the canton's website, they are simultaneously sent by e-mail to all subscribers. It is also possible to receive the releases collectively at a fixed time in the early evening. The news subscription is another service offered by the Canton of Berne to provide the population with better and more direct information through its own communication channels.
