Yearbook of advertising: The megaphones are awarded

Last night, the «Yearbook of Advertising» awards ceremony took place at the Moskau in Berlin. The first major event of the year for advertising professionals drew more than 300 attendees and was hosted by cultural journalist Dieter Moor.

The highlight was the presentation of the Megaphone, the highest award of the Advertising Yearbook. Among the laudators were Karina Tietje (Managing Director of KTI Multimedia and Chairwoman of the Digital Media Jury), Arno Lindemann (Managing Director of Lukas Lindemann Rosinski and Newcomer Agency 2009), Dr. Jochen Kalka (Editor-in-Chief of w&v Werben & Verkaufen) and the three editors of the Advertising Yearbook Willi Schalk, Helmut Thoma and Peter Strahlendorf.
 
The Megaphone winners are: Leo Burnett Frankfurt with "Fiat Punto Evo Challenge" in the Digital Media category. DDB Tribal Hamburg and Saatchi & Saatchi received a trophy for the integrated campaign "Grenzen gab's Gestern" (Borders were yesterday) (client: Deutsche Telekom). The high-flyer elbkind scored twice. Their interactive viral "Chef für einen Tag" for the Otto Group in the field of recruiting and employee communication is the B2B communication of the year. In addition, elbkind is the Newcomer Agency of the Year 2010. Heimat, Berlin achieves a quadruple success. The agency received a megaphone for the cinema spot of the year "Das grenzenlose Haus" (client: Hornbach), a megaphone for the ambient media campaign for CNN "Go Beyond Borders" and one for the campaign of the year "Wie viel Wahnsinn steckt in Dir?" (How much madness is in you?) (client: Hornbach). (client: Hornbach). This is the second time in a row that Heimat, Berlin has won Agency of the Year.
