The IAA Swiss Chapter is hosting an exclusive evening at the Kuehne + Nagel headquarters in Schindellegi on March 12, 2026. The event is entitled "The Invisible Engine: Logistics Beyond Your Imagination" and promises insights into the complex structures of global logistics.
Four keynotes on current topics
The program includes four lectures on different aspects of logistics. Marc Strolz talks about "How your cup of coffee became a geopolitical weapon" and sheds light on the geopolitical dimensions of global flows of goods. Mark Buckle will address the topic of "AI in motion: The robot revolution you can't see" and show how artificial intelligence is changing the industry.

Marco de Angeli deals with "Brand trust in transit: Why your marketing promise lives or dies in warehouses" and shows the connection between logistics and brand communication. Claudia Harms and Elske Welling conclude with "The responsibility engine: How logistics leaders shape tomorrow's world".
Background information on global logistics
The event makes it clear that every product, every meal and every campaign is made possible by decisions made in control rooms that remain invisible to most people. Every year, 15.3 billion tons of freight are transported by air and sea worldwide - an operation of enormous complexity.

Further IAA events planned
In addition to the logistics event, the IAA Swiss Chapter is planning further events. On April 29, the "AI in Marketing" conference will take place, for which IAA members will receive a preferential price of CHF 445 instead of CHF 545. The IAA Speed Mentoring Program - Basel Edition will follow on 11 May, bringing together 24 young professionals with eight experienced mentors.
It is still possible to register for the event at Kuehne + Nagel. Further information can be found on the website of the logistics company to find.
