Heineken unveils Spectre TV spot with Daniel Craig
The new TV commercial featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond is part of the global Spectre campaign and shows speedboats racing against each other. Heineken is also announcing a digital campaign featuring the world's first selfie from space: the "Spyfie.".
Heineken's Spectre campaign is the brand's biggest global marketing platform in 2015. Produced by Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the 24th James Bond adventure is called Spectre and premieres in the UK on October 26 and in Switzerland on October 27. For the TV spot, Heineken worked with Spectre's cinematographers and stuntmen to ensure the action scenes were authentic. The inserted story twist involves Zara, a young woman who accidentally gets involved in the speedboat race and helps the world's favorite agent save the day.

For the digital Spectre campaign, Heineken will once again push the boundaries of modern technologies and take the world's first selfie from space. Heineken is working with Urthecast to capture Ultra HD images with its cameras on the Deimos satellite, which is currently circling 600 km above the Earth's surface.
Through a relay of technologies, Heineken will take a selfie for participants recruited worldwide to attend the exclusive Spectre screening. This event will take place in early November at a secret location and all participants will receive a customized spyfie sent to their mobile device. Swiss fans have the opportunity to win tickets to this Spectre screening via Heineken's Facebook page.

Urs Frei, Head of Corporate Communications at Heineken Switzerland, explains: "Celebrating our 18-year partnership, our Spectre campaign is the most innovative. The distinct nature of the Bond film franchise gives us the opportunity to use cutting-edge and ground-breaking tools that not only stimulate the experience of film fans, but also add real value. By having Daniel Craig in our TV spot and through spyfie activation, we're giving fans access to the world of James Bond."

To further raise expectations ahead of the film's release this fall, Bond fans worldwide will have access to exclusive Spectre content with an estimated half a billion Spectre bottles. Fans simply scan the Heineken logo on Spectre special edition bottles, cans and packs to unlock exclusive content featuring Daniel Craig and background footage of the film's five most dramatic locations (Mexico City, Rome, London, Austria and Morocco). Heineken has been a partner of the James Bond films since 1997's "Tomorrow Never Dies." Spectre is the seventh consecutive joint film.
