Havas continues alcohol prevention

Havas Worldwide Zurich has continued the alcohol prevention campaign for the FOPH. The second wave focuses on the perception of others and of oneself when consuming alcohol.

Under the motto "How much is too much?" Havas Worldwide Zurich launched a nationwide campaign last year for the Federal Office of Public Health and its partners, encouraging people to drink alcohol responsibly. Among other things, clever headlines combined with entertaining animated films set new points of attraction for the question of how one's own alcohol consumption stands in certain drinking situations.

In a second wave, the campaign is now focusing primarily on the social consequences of excessive alcohol consumption. The main focus is on the often divergent perception of oneself and others after a few glasses of high-proof alcohol. A specially created spot now shows in a backward running story that many things we perceive as cool when drunk or intoxicated can rightly be perceived as quite embarrassing by bystanders. In the best case, only a few lazy sayings follow the next day. But there is a greater risk that recordings or photos of the ambiguous appearance will spread like wildfire on the Internet and haunt the person concerned for a long time to come. The continuation of the campaign will be supplemented with further digital measures and advertisements. www.alcohol-facts.ch
